Magnus Ringberg (Sweden) is a physiotherapist and trainer.  He travels around the world teaching classes, workshops and teacher trainings. With his broad background of techniques he can offer unique sessions. Magnus goal is to inspire you and enjoy greater freedom of your body. Magnus inspirational teaching is based of informed movement with attention to alignment. He is known for his clear and playful approach to navigate to your edge and boldy dive in. For him it’s about constantly moving and the ability to transfer your body and to move with ease and effortlessness.

Magnus own yoga technique, space m:yoga, consists of precisely structured movements that gradually evolves into greater range and complexity. It’s a dynamic yoga that links poses in a flowing order. A nurturing yoga practice with juicy articulations.

Together with Christina Sivertsson and The Academy Magnus have created functional moves®. This is group training program spread all over Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. The structure of the training builds around different modules with specific alignment and timing principles. Functional moves® systematically work your entire body cultivating balance, strength and endurance. To keep the practice inspiring and constantly evolve the modules are ever changing.

Magnus is teaching the Garuda method. He´s trained by James D’Silva. James is the creator of the movement technique and the Garuda apparatus. Over the years James has adopted yoga, pilates, tai chi, GYROTONIC®, Feldenkrais and Alexander Technique influences, generating a unique, holistic and enjoyable style of movement. Garuda takes its name from an Indian mythological sacred bird that can change shape according to its function. Using the specially designed Garuda apparatus, mat or other complementary equipment you’ll learn to control your body through precise actions, placing an emphasis on smooth and seamless movements.
