Magnus is a physiotherapist, Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy, and trainer from Sweden with broad and unique experience how to explore and challenge movement. He travels around the world teaching classes, workshops and trainings. With his extensive background in a big variation of techniques he can offer unique sessions. Magnus inspiring teaching is based on informed movement with attention to guiding the body three dimensionally. Magnus is known for his playful approach to training and he will challenge you to let go. For him it’s about constantly moving and the ability to transfer your body and to move with ease and effortlessness.

Since Magnus started to practice yoga in 1998 he has constantly done trainings and workshops for world leading teachers. From this knowledge and his self practice he started to categorize and making up his own system. He’s spreading this knowledge in training programs for space:m yoga. Magnus yoga technique consists of precisely structured movements that gradually evolves into greater range and complexity. A nurturing practice of vinyasa yoga that will create create more possibilities within yourself. During the practice you will establish foundational articulations around the joints in the body. Magnus blend of classical yoga postures with innovative moves, invites you to explore body and breath with curiosity, passion and precision.

Together with Christina Sivertsson and The Academy Magnus have created functional moves®. This is group training program spread all over Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. The structure of the training builds around different modules with specific alignment and timing principles. Functional moves® systematically work your entire body cultivating balance, strength and endurance. To keep the practice inspiring and constantly evolve the modules are ever changing.

Magnus is teaching the Garuda method and is trained by the creator James D’Silva. The technique Garuda is generating a unique seamless style of movement and takes its name from an Indian mythological sacred bird that can change shape according to its function. Using the specially designed Garuda apparatus, mat or other complementary equipment you’ll learn to control your body through precise actions.
