Reach & grip
The main idea in this version of ‘camel pose with single arm circle’ (from Space M Yoga Class 5) is to integrate external reference points. I use yoga blocks because it’s handy, but you can place any kind of object.
From a kneeling position reach to arm forward, continue towards the ceiling and circle the arm behind you and reach for the block. Pick it up and return towards the starting position.
Ideas for progression;
Start with two blocks (different levels). Gradually work towards one block.
Place the block on the same side as the reaching arm (close to the back foot) and from there explore the space behind you.
Cross over the midline (in the direction of the opposite foot).
